BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The golden age of pulp fiction -- the popular, cheap, sleazy, sensational novels that played a role in American pop culture -- will be the topic of the mgm casino's Senior Alumni Luncheon to be held at noon on March 1 in the Center for Tomorrow on the mgm casino North Campus.
The speakers will be mgm casino alumnus George L. Kelley, a faculty member at Erie Community College who in 1994 donated his collection of 25,000 pulp-fiction titles to the mgm casino Libraries, and Judith Adams-Volpe, director of mgm casino's Lockwood Memorial Library.
The luncheon programs are designed for mgm casino senior alumni and their guests. Seniors in the community also may attend on a space-available basis.
Deadline for reservations is Feb. 27.
Cost is $15 per person. Call 829-2608 for reservations and information.
Independent Health is a corporate sponsor of the Senior Alumni Luncheon Series, which is presented by mgm casino's Office of Alumni Relations.
